The Europe Hospitals have resumed their consultations and surgical and medical day hospital activities.

For consultations, this means that:

  • You will be asked to wear a surgical mask provided by the clinic, personal masks will not be accepted.
  • You are invited to come to the hospital no later than 20 minutes before your consultation starts and no earlier.
  • A buffer zone (ventilated and spaced) is provided to keep waiting room time to a strict minimum.

We ask all our patients to come to their medical appointments preferably alone. If possible, the accompanying person should wait for the patient outside the hospital (e.g. in the car).

The following exceptions will be tolerated:

  • If a child comes for consultation, he or she may come accompanied by a maximum of one adult;
  • If a person has reduced mobility, he or she may come accompanied by a maximum of one adult;
  • Pregnant women may come accompanied by their partner.

For day hospital operations:

  • You will be contacted by the medical secretariat to inform you whether or not your operation is continuing.
  • In the 72 hours prior to your procedure, you will need to be smear tested or have a chest CT scan to verify that you do not have COVID-19. You will receive more information about this when you are contacted for your procedure.

Be sure to come with an up-to-date list of medications.

Download a blank medication list here. Fill it out yourself or get help from a family member, home nurse, pharmacist or general practitioner.
