About the ophthalmology unit
Ophthalmology is the specialty concerned with treatment of the eyes, eyelids and muscles that facilitate eye movements. Our state of the art equipment allows a correct diagnosis and prescription of the appropriate treatment. Treatments may consist of the prescription of glasses, medications or surgery for cataract, glaucoma or strabismus. Ophthalmic Surgeons use laser microsurgery techniques in order to carry out the interventions as precisely as possible and quickly as possible
