What is a podiatrist?

A podiatrist provides foot care. He diagnoses and treats disorders of the skin and nails on your feet.

When do I consult a podiatrist?

Generally, when you are experiencing foot pain.
When you have corns, calluses, deformity of one or several toes, ingrown toenails, etc.
When you are experiencing pain due to unusually curved toenails.
To monitor your diabetes.

Overview of podiatry services

Podiatry services partly involves foot care and the other part providing custom-designed orthotic insoles. The foot care part involves prevention and treatment of diseases of the skin and nails on the feet (corns, calluses, ingrown toenails, etc.). The custom-made orthotic insoles are designed to correct, diminish, curb and prevent the development of deformations, joint and muscular pathologies related to a gait cycle disorder.
