Charter Healthcare Providers – Patients of the Europe Hospitals
Together for a serene and caring stay
Welcome to the Europe Hospitals. Our priority is to ensure that your hospitalization takes place under good conditions in line with our values.
This charter recalls the principles of respect and trust that enable everyone, patients, relatives and staff of the Europe Hospitals, to experience this period in a serene, safe and humane environment.
Patient First: Our commitments to you
We do everything possible to provide you with the following:
- High-quality care delivered by skilled and attentive staff.
- A relationship of trust based on respect, active listening, and commitment.
- Support with attention to your comfort, safety, and privacy.
- An open and respectful dialogue with the healthcare staff and your doctor
- Human support in times of difficulty, so that we can work together to find appropriate solutions.
United in Care: Your Cooperation Is essential for the smooth delivery of care and your well-being
To ensure that your stay takes place under the best possible conditions, we expect the following from you and your visitors:
- Respectful and considerate communication with staff, other patients, and their loved ones, and behavior free from any form of discrimination or verbal or physical violence.
- Respect for visiting hours and the permitted number of visitors.
We also count on your cooperation to:
- Refrain from bringing in or using alcohol, drugs, or non-prescribed medication.
- Inform the healthcare team of any movement within the hospital and obtain prior authorization for any leave outside the hospital (in this case, a leave form must be signed with the nursing team).
Engagement: A Relationship based on trust
We believe that a successful stay is built on mutual trust and shared respect.
In the event of difficulties, dialogue will always be encouraged between you, your doctor, and the healthcare team in order to find the best possible solution.
You are actively involved in your hospitalization
If no agreement regarding your admission can be reached, you have the option to end your stay by signing a “discharge of departure on one's own responsibility” form. Follow-up care outside the hospital may then be offered.
Together, we will make your hospitalization a time of listening, respect, and trust.
Do not hesitate to speak with your doctor or a member of the healthcare team if you have any questions or concerns: we are here to listen to you and to help you.
