Dr Doris Fraenkel, Ophtalmologie

The Europe Hospitals would like to welcome Dr Doris Fraenkel, who has joined the Ophthalmology Department at the St-Elisabeth site. 

Dr Doris Fraenkel graduated in June 2017 from the Faculty of Medicine at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) located in Brussels. Passionate about ophthalmology, she chose to specialise in this field at the University Hospital of Saarland (UKS) located in Germany where she graduated in October 2023.

As the UKS is a reference centre for cornea, Dr Fraenkel is keen to develop this field within the Europe Hospitals. She also specialises in medical retina surgery, and is currently expanding her knowledge of cataract surgery.
