New doctor: Dr Mubine Rahamatali, Physical Medicine

The Europe Hospitals would like to welcome Dr Mubine Rahamatali, who has just joined the Physical Medicine department. Dr Rahamatali completed his university studies at the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) in Brussels. After completing his basic medical training, he went on to do a 5-year specialisation in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the UCL (one year at Hôpital de la Citadelle in Liège, one year at Hôpital Mont-Godinne in Namur, one year at Clinique Saint-Jean in Brussels and two years at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc in Brussels). He qualified as a specialist in October 2020. 

Dr Rahamatali began his post-specialisation work on the island of Réunion (one year at the CHU sud de la Réunion and one year at the Clinique des Tamarins sud). He returned to Belgium in April 2023 to strengthen the Physical Medicine-Rheumatology team at the Europe Hospitals. His practice will include multi-purpose Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine consultations (spinal pathology, EMG, sports pathology, etc.) and neuro-rehabilitation (with a focus on post-stroke rehabilitation and the management of spasticity).

Dr Rahamatali is looking forward to working with all the members of the Europe Hospitals to provide the best possible patient care.
