Passing of Dr. Marc Van Campenhoudt

It is with great sadness that the Europe Hospitals announce the passing of their former Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director, Dr. Marc Van Campenhoudt, which occurred on Thursday, June 12. He was 80 years old.

Dr. Marc Van Campenhoudt, a radiologist, led the Europe Hospitals for many years, until his retirement in 2012. Together with his wife, Dr. Myriam De Bie, who also served as CEO and General Director until 2012, they successfully carried out various merger operations and several construction projects.

Marc was a man of strong character, deeply committed to driving change. His dedication extended beyond healthcare. He also served for many years as Chairman of the Board of Directors of RTBF and as Vice President of the Christian Social Party (PSC) for the Walloon Brabant.

Today, we wish to highlight his long-standing commitment to the Europe Hospitals and extend our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones.
