Dr Antoine Mairesse, Laboratory

The Europe Hospitals would like to welcome Dr Antoine Mairesse, who has just joined the Clinical Biology Laboratory.

Dr Mairesse obtained his medical degree from the Université catholique de Louvain in 2018. During his specialist training, he developed a particular interest in haematological diagnostics. In 2020, he enhanced his skills by obtaining a university diploma in blood transfusion from the Université Paris-Est Créteil. In 2021, he consolidated his expertise in haematology in the laboratory at UZ Leuven and graduated in 2023 as a specialist in Clinical Biology. This year, he is also committed to continuing his training with a view to obtaining the European title of specialist in clinical haemostasis.

Dr Mairesse's commitment to the scientific field has also been demonstrated by several publications, including a recent one with the Europe Hospitals laboratory.

His objective within the hospital is to invest in the Laboratory's activities, with the emphasis on development in the haematology sector. In addition, Dr Mairesse plans to set up specialist consultations in coagulation pathology. His ambition is to make an active contribution to improving medical services and advancing knowledge in the field of haematology within our institution.
