Dr Ihsan ROUGUI, Médecine du Sommeil

The Europe Hospitals would like to welcome Dr Ihsan Rougui, who has just joined the Sleep Medicine Department.

Dr Rougui obtained her medical degree in 2010 from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). Following this, she completed a core curriculum in internal medicine (including two years at the St-Elisabeth site) and specialised in pneumology. After obtaining her pneumology accreditation in 2017, Dr Rougui began her career as a pulmonologist at Clinique Saint-Jean while simultaneously starting training in sleep medicine. She was also an external consultant at Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc for more than two years.

At the Europe Hospitals, Dr Rougui's ambition is to develop Sleep Medicine with Dr Charlotte Smetcoren, head of department, to bring it up to the cutting edge. The aim is to be able to offer patients the full range of examinations needed to address the various problems associated with somnology.
