Plexus block

The plexus block is a locoregional anaesthesia involving the injection of a local anaesthetic in several nerve trunks (i.e. the root of a nerve) at the site where they exit the vertebral column.

The types of plexus:

  • Superficial cervical
  • Brachial
  • Lumbar
  • Sacral
