Laura Brodski exhibits her work on the Ste-Elisabeth site until 12 December
She is one of our patients. After not exhibiting for several years, she has decided to show her work again. She draws her inspiration from everything around her: a wall worn by time, a simple stain on the floor.
Diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 43, painting, which she already practised before, helps her to blossom in her own artistic world. It allows her to explore limitless creative horizons and reconnect with what is essential to her.
Laura Brodski: ‘When I paint, my mind calms down; I immerse myself in my world and feel good. Why strive for the impossible? The theme of ‘everything is possible’ came naturally to me.
‘Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.’ - Seneca
