Hip surgery

The hip prosthesis is the hobbyhorse of the surgeon who treats hip osteoarthritis. In the case of a young and highly active patient suffering from hip wear, hip resurfacing can be performed, where only the mobile layer is replaced, without having to remove the whole hip.

We are also specialised in arthroscopic interventions (exploratory operation) for the treatment of labral tears (comparable to a sort of hip meniscus).
Osteosynthesis and/or prosthetic surgery are daily activities in the treatment of hip fractures.
