Back surgery
Microdiscectomy to treat sciatic pain caused by a herniated cervical or lumbar portion of the back, or arthrodesis (stabilising procedures) performed through the ventral or dorsal part, are carried out with the greatest care and expertise; these interventions alleviate persistent and lasting pains that are impossible to treat otherwise.
In the case of acute pain due to fractures caused by vertebral depression, vertebroplasty or kyphoplasty interventions are performed. The fractured vertebra is immobilised in a splint using bone cement, which has the near instant effect of alleviating the pain.
